The hard part of a Brooklyn move isn't the distance
It's the turn at the top of the parlor floor, and the stairwell that narrows right where the couch doesn't. We walk the route before anyone lifts anything, pad the tight spots, and wrap furniture in the hallway rather than steering it bare past original woodwork.
Your building's rules, handled before the truck rolls
Half of a Brooklyn move happens before anyone lifts a box. If your building wants a COI, we deal with your management company directly, so you're not playing messenger all week. If there's a freight elevator, we book it and build the day around the window. If there's no elevator at all, we plan the carry and pace the day for the stairs. And if your super has rules, we find them out ahead of time and plan around them.

Williamsburg
The waterfront towers come with loading docks, freight elevators and COI paperwork. The lofts and walk-ups off Grand and Graham come with stairs and no paperwork at all. We find out which kind of building is on each end of your move, and plan both before the day.
Park Slope
Rows of brownstones, one-way blocks between Fifth Avenue and the park, and alternate-side parking that limits where a truck can wait. We work out the truck's spot before the day.
Bed-Stuy
On Hancock, Decatur and Jefferson, the stoops run high and the blocks run long. Inside it's pocket doors, hallway woodwork and banisters worth keeping, so door frames get padded and furniture gets wrapped before it moves.
Bay Ridge
Prewar elevator buildings along Shore Road and Colonial Road, co-op boards with move-in windows, and attached houses with shared driveways. We check the building's rules first and plan the day around them.

Frequently asked questions
My building needs a certificate of insurance. Is that my problem?
No. It's ours. Tell us the building when you start your quote and we'll deal with your management company directly. Elevator buildings almost always ask for a COI, and plenty of brownstone co-ops do too. Either way, you're not spending the week forwarding emails.
What happens with parking on moving day?
We plan the truck's spot before the day, not from the driver's seat. Give us your cross streets in the quote and we'll work out which side of the block flips that morning and where the truck can legally sit. If your block is one of the tight ones, we scout it first.
Do you only move people within Brooklyn?
No. We move across all five boroughs, so Bed-Stuy to Astoria gets the same planning as Bed-Stuy to Crown Heights. We handle both buildings' rules and plan both ends of the day. Start your quote with where you're leaving from, and see everywhere we move in New York if the other end is over a bridge.
